Updating a Cluster

You can rename the cluster name, upload a kubeconfig file, or schedule a backup.

Rename Cluster Name, and Region#

To do so:

  1. Click Cluster Management from the main menu to displayed the sub-menu.
  2. Click Clusters. The Clusters page with existing clusters are displayed.
  3. Choose your cluster and click the ellipsis icon on the right. A drop-down list is displayed with more options.
  4. Click Edit cluster. The Connect your cluster to CAPE pop-up box is displayed.
  5. Follow on-screen text to edit.
  6. Click Update to save the changes.

Upload Kubeconfig Cluster Name#

  1. Click Cluster Management from the main menu to displayed the sub-menu.
  2. Click Clusters. The Clusters page with existing clusters are displayed.
  3. Choose your cluster and click the ellipsis icon on the right. A drop-down list is displayed with more options.
  4. Click Edit config. The Edit config pop-up box is displayed.
  5. Follow on-screen text to upload the file.
  6. Click Update to save the changes.

Schedule Backup#

  1. Click Cluster Management from the main menu to displayed the sub-menu.
  2. Click Clusters. The Clusters page with existing clusters are displayed.
  3. Choose your cluster and click the ellipsis icon on the right. A drop-down list is displayed with more options.
  4. Click Schedule backup. If there is no existing backup, you will be prompted to create the backup. The Create backup pop-up box is displayed.
  5. Follow on-screen text to schedule the backup.
  6. Click Cluster to save the changes.
